Our concession fundraising The Huskers Club has:
-Fundraised to pay for our Concession Trailer
- Staff and sell items in the Huskers trailer at outdoor Varsity Games (sometimes at JV games too!)
-Obtained grant for swimming pool touch timers
-Sponsored annual Senior Athletic Awards dinner for all Senior Athletes (senior athletes attend at no cost to them)
-Purchased hi-definition video cameras for viewing games & scouting teams
-Supported the purchase of high jump mats for track team
-Purchased sand bags for wrestling teams
-Purchased ball racks for the basketball teams
-Supported coach development workshops
-Purchased software program for all sports/coaches to utilize
-Installed the Charlie Murphy sign leading to our fields
-Ongoing additions of family/athletic sponsored huskers brick
-Sponsor annual coaches appreciation dinner
-Support for high school gymnasium and murphy field bleaches
-Support and funding to Murphy field, grass field softball field, baseball field and High School scoreboard
-Provide Annual “Husker Awards” and/or scholarships to coach selected
Senior Athlete members at annual awards dinner***
***NOTE: Your family must be a member of the Huskers Sports Club by Oct. 1st of the athlete’s senior year in order to be eligible for both a Huskers monetary scholarship and an award at the Senior Awards Dinner.
Some Huskers awards:
Husker player of the year- One player per team, determined by the head coach (~$100)
Male & Female Athlete of the year,
determined by a panel of Varsity head coaches and the Athletic Director (~$750)
Male & Female Scholar Athlete of the year,
determined by a panel of Varsity head coaches and the Athletic Director (~$1000)
